1. How do you stay motivated and productive in your work?

As a Lead Designer, I employ various strategies to maintain personal growth and motivate my team. I stay updated by following industry trends and embracing challenges that push me outside my comfort zone, fueling my creative spark and developing new skills. To empower the team, I set clear goals, provide regular feedback and recognition, encourage collaboration, and delegate tasks while fostering trust. By focusing on personal development and fostering a positive team environment, I ensure both my drive and that of my team are sustained.

2. What has been the most rewarding aspect of your job so far?

While achieving KPIs and maintaining a smooth workflow is important, the true reward lies in fostering a team that thrives creatively and delivers impactful design solutions.  It’s about the collaborative journey, the individual growth, and the positive impact our designs create that brings the most satisfaction.

3. Can you share a fun or interesting fact about yourself that colleagues might not know?

You wouldn’t believe it, but I have full-blown conversations with my dog! Silly voices, the whole nine yards.  They always perk up and seem to respond, so who knows, maybe I’m a secret dog whisperer in the making!

4. What is a funny or quirky habit of yours?

One of my quirky habits is turning the bathroom into my theater by sitting on the toilet bowl for over an hour, indulging in a marathon of random videos. It’s my quirky way of finding entertainment and relaxation!

5. If you could only eat one cuisine for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

If I had to eat only one type of food forever, it’d definitely be Sweet and Spicy Chicken Adobo. It’s my absolute favorite, and its deliciousness could keep me satisfied forever!

6. Is there a book, podcast, or movie that has had a significant impact on you or your perspective? If yes, why?

“Hachiko: A Dog’s Story” is a heartfelt film based on the true story of Hachiko, an Akita dog known for his unwavering loyalty to his owner, Professor Parker. Set in Japan, the movie portrays Hachiko’s daily routine of waiting at the train station for his owner, even long after the professor’s passing. Through Hachiko’s steadfast devotion, the film explores themes of love, loyalty, and the enduring bond between humans and animals. It serves as a touching reminder of the extraordinary impact that pets can have on our lives and the profound depth of the human-animal bond.

7. Would you rather have the ability to speak all languages fluently or be able to play any musical instrument proficiently? Why?

I would choose to speak all languages fluently. Being able to connect with people from all over the world would be incredibly enriching.

8. If you could have any person as a best friend, who would it be and why?

I would choose to have my deceased grandfather by my side. He’s my hero, and I have always admired his wisdom, kindness, and love. Imagining him would bring him back to life in a way that allows me to continue learning from his guidance and experiencing his warmth and support.

Having him as my best friend would mean having endless conversations filled with his wisdom, sharing laughter and cherished memories, and feeling his comforting presence during both joyful and challenging times. His love and influence have shaped who I am today, and having him as a best friend would be a beautiful way to keep his memory alive and honor his impact on my life.
