Despite having a laid-back demeanor with a serious tone of commitment, Jazzlhee’s a free spirit who also has a taste for adventure, enjoying what life brings with her loved ones.
1. Can you tell us about your journey at OOm PH and how you started here?
My time at OOm PH has been an amazing journey of learning and growth. I started as an SEO Link Builder in August 2021, diving into the world of search engine optimization. In March 2022, I became an SEO apprentice, gaining more knowledge about on-page optimization techniques and working closely with experienced professionals. Recognizing my potential, I was promoted to Junior Web QA Specialist, where I delved into quality assurance for web development projects. With guidance, I gradually took on leadership roles, eventually becoming Sr Web QA Specialist and team lead by July 2023.
Overall, my journey at OOm PH has been full of challenges and opportunities for growth, and I’m grateful for the support of my colleagues and mentors.
2. What inspires you in both your personal and professional life?
What inspires me in both my personal and professional life is my drive to grow, to keep learning and to acquire new skills. Even in situations where I might doubt myself or others might doubt me, I always focus on the positive aspects and pursue whatever goal I’m aiming for.
3. How do you like to spend your weekends or free time?
On weekends, I typically hang out with my family and loved ones. I’m a big foodie and coffee connoisseur, so I also enjoy going out, discovering new spots, and trying different restaurants and cafes.
4. What’s something on your bucket list that you hope to accomplish in the next few years?
I’ve always had a passion for coffee, so one thing I really hope to achieve in the next few years is starting my own business, specifically a cozy coffee shop.
5. If you could have any job for a day (real or fictional), what would it be and why?
If I could have any job for a day, I’d choose to be the owner of a beach restaurant or shack in a sunny beach city anywhere in the world. This is more than just a job, it’s actually my dream retirement plan. I imagine opening a small restaurant on the beach and living my last few days in peace with the ocean.
6. If you could live in any fictional world from a book or movie, where would you choose and why?
I am going to go with the wizarding world of JK Rowling, I’d choose the magical realm of Harry Potter. The idea of attending Hogwarts, learning spells, and exploring the wizarding world’s enchanting places is incredibly enticing. I would love for magic to really exist.
7. If you could only listen to one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I’d choose to listen to chill R&B from the early 2000s and 90s. The smooth rhythms, soulful vocals, and nostalgic vibes of that era create an atmosphere of relaxation and emotional depth that I could listen to forever!
8. Is there anything about yourself or your journey that you think people might be surprised to learn?
Something that might surprise people about me is my taste in music. For instance, during a casual conversation with the QA team, I mentioned that I’m a big fan of The Weeknd. They were genuinely surprised, as they didn’t expect someone like me to listen to that genre. It’s always amusing to challenge stereotypes, even in something as simple as musical preferences!
