Look Who’s Talking is back again, and in this episode, we’re featuring one of the most committed individuals of OOm PH.
Aaron Jan Pugal—one of the most hardworking and dedicated lads is OOm PH’s Web Development Project Manager. Aaron always has a keen eye for the little things and is the right guy for managing and executing projects. That also means he has tons of plates on his table. Maybe his life at work was his passion project. Nevertheless, like any other hardworking individual, he knows how to take things off and have fun.
Without further ado, let’s get to know more about him.
1. What do you enjoy most about working at OOm PH?
I enjoy the current working environment along with working with colleagues. There are ups and downs, which are common in a corporate environment. You just have to live with it and move forward.
2. Can you share any advice or lessons you’ve learned throughout your career that you think would be valuable to others?
If you think you are struggling, make it an enjoyable struggle. Learn from what you are currently experiencing and absorb positive teachings from your surroundings. Brush of negativity because it will not only affect your work but also affect you as a person.
3. Share something you’re passionate about outside of work.
I am passionate about minding my own business, resting when given the chance, and learning about new things from here and there.
4. How do you like to spend your weekends or free time?
How I spend my weekend will depend on the week before if it has no major escalations in work. If it has, I develop prototypes on how we can overcome it, but if no such thing occurs, I usually spend my time playing computer games or playing basketball if given a chance.
5. What’s a skill or hobby you’ve always wanted to learn but haven’t had the chance to yet?
Play instruments like the Grand Piano or a Violin. In terms of technicality, I would love to animate a scene from a manga and while at it, I would love to know the process of how to create manga panels and storylines.
6. Would you prefer to explore a new city every month or live in one place for the rest of your life? Why?
It will depend on whether the current place I’m in has no issues or is stable. If that is the case, I will live here for the rest of my life. But if major or constant issues occur, I would be open to exploring a new city.
7. Would you rather live in a world without music or a world without books? Why?
Having one without the other would be sad. I would rather have both. No statement says I cannot have both.
8. If you could possess one superpower, what would it be and how would you use it to make a difference in the world?
I haven’t thought about this but you have given me an idea. I would prefer a superpower that would freeze time so that I could lounge around all day to recharge for the next day. HAHAHAHAHA.
